01 / Your workbench

From a physical picture to a model.

Actual desktop app
Actual METRLab Mechanics editor displaying a mass-spring system with its component palette and Properties sidebar.
Captured from the actual Qt application. Not a browser-based simulator or mock interface.
02 / A little more clarity

Room to explore.
Tools to understand.

One focused app, connected to a family of engineering workbenches. Install what you need; keep each app independent.

A physical vocabulary

Arrange masses, springs, dampers, force inputs and rigid links in an editable mechanical diagram.

Equations from the diagram

Generate the system equations from the same model you edit. Keep the physical connections and mathematical description together.

Explore the motion

Simulate supported translational systems and inspect their time responses using existing analysis tools.

A model you can return to

Save mechanical documents, use bundled examples and export readable diagrams for teaching and study.

03 / Standalone, by design

A workbench of its own.

METRLab Home is optional.
The app runs independently.

Honest about the boundaries.

Educational software, under active development.

What is supported?

Focused on supported lumped translational systems. It is not a general-purpose CAD, finite-element or multibody contact solver.

Do I need METRLab Home?

No. Each workbench is a separate application. Home is an optional launcher that discovers installed apps and links to pages for the others.

Is my work uploaded?

Normal editing and simulation use local documents. Optional connected features have their own configuration; these product pages contain no analytics, account system or upload form.

Can I download it yet?

Not from this page yet. The first packaged preview is Circuits; other standalone app installers require their own native build and verification.
